Beautiful! Ours all grow in the ground but we are warmer than most of you, zone 9b leaning towards 10. We lost a lot to Hurricane Ike, an amazing number did survive and we've planted a bunch since then. Most reach maximum height in 1-2 years. I've tried leaving them in pots but they just grow roots down & you can't move them so gave up. We lost a large hackberry and now the brugs get more sun, one that never bloomed in the past is on it's 5th or 6th flush this year, it had over 300 blooms each time! The branches were touching the ground they were so heavy from flowers, and the plant is about 8' tall. We are still amazed at that one. Lucy, you should put one in the ground next spring & leave it to see what it does. I think you'll be delighted and you can always take cuttings in the fall if you're nervous. Tally HO!

I always considered KY a food condiment, thats why I have a tube in our bedside tool-box. We really should have a taste-off with Astro-Glide, dontcha think? I should have been Sarah Silverman. Next lifetime! Oh yeah we're talking about ads...none here. Don't care either way if I'm logged in and they are unobtrusive. Its when I'm NOT logged in that they are all over the place. Almost as bad as Sunset and Foodnetwork's sites.

I love Luckstone, too, Jodi! ;-) And it ended up being quite theatrical as my grandfather and several of his siblings were on the stage. I called my grandmother Lucky, but maybe Luckstone is a possibility. I thought of Josh and Groban earlier too! I had to give up my orange cat after my mother died. (I was nine.) His name was Rusty. (Very original!) I better come up with something soon because my son keeps calling him Saucers. I can't say I'm crazy about the name. Marilyn, it's true about most orange cats being male, but my Peachy (picture below) is a female. I read that in order for this to happen the mother must be a calico and the father an orange. We have Peachy's mother, a pastel calico. We don't know who Peachy's father was, but now we know what he looked like. :-)
