Hello Marquest and all of you other wonderful customers, I'm a little confused about if I should ship your plants because of your frequent traveling schedule. I've sent (yet another) email requesting permission to ship today. Again, my apologies that I've gotten off track with your schedule. I'll make sure to throw in even more freebies for your continued hassle problems. For most of us it has been a fun ride, my apologies that it has become such a pain for you. I'm down to about 10 orders to ship out today and we'll be 100% caught up. KGC had a business meeting and the 3 of us decided that none of us have the time to continue with Koi Garden Club operations online. As I said in another thread, we all work full time jobs this year because things didn't work out like we had hoped last year when I was working KGC full time. Actually it's more like the 3 of us all have different visions and expectations of what KGC was and the direction it was going. I'm shutting down the website sales pages and the eBay listings and letting KGC online go dormant once all shipping has been accomplished. The 3 of us are currently in negotiations for me, Jerome, to possibly buy Koi Garden Club online from Koi Garden Club, Inc. I've spent a full year plus developing the relationship with you folks and it kills me to see it going down the tubes. My apologies to those of you that have had to deal with the stress of the past month or so. Please rest assured that I personally am trying to make sure everybody is satisfied before the doors close completely (for the time being!) Incidentally, we will continue to honor the 2 year guarantee even after the doors are closed. I will honor all guarantee terms if I become the new owner, or if not we will be offering refunds for the full two years regardless. I can find stuff there that is not available in other places. Well, it is true if you look at their website. Alas, the reality is different. Not once when I ordered from Hortico they shipped the roses in one shipment as they promised to. They always tend to have crop failure or some other excuse. This year they did it again. Around the end of October they had everything I ordered and all roses should be shipped after mid-November - they said. At the end of November it turned out that they didn't have the roses that they were supposed to ship. Maybe just maybe in January they will have them... Crop failure etc. can happen to every nursery but it cannot happen every given year. To sum it up, Hortico is not dependable at all. Palatine and Pickering are very reliable, and the quality of their plants are far better than Hortico ever was.

It would be the same as me wanting 11 two zones away zone 8-12 rose shrubs there are jsut things I have no bussiness even attempting I do respect your sence of pride but as indicated you are setting yourself up to fail This very possible failure result is not what the 9 -11 roses are about I think you would do better making compromisies with flower colors and type

I agree Denise, I don't think there's a problem with VF-11 at all and do believe that in the right conditions it works great. Unfortunately the iron in my water is working against it hence the yellow cast to the leaves. The two together just aren't a good combination. I wonder if higher levels of lime or clay in the water could do the same thing and change results? Possibly this is one of the reasons why people have mixed results. The site says it works best alone, well my iron definately isn't letting it be alone! The only thing that seems to give me visible results is using the beer fertilizer recipe found floating around here once a month on every kind of houseplant. It obviously flushes a lot of the iron out of the soil and bark, makes it much less heavy, which in turn is why I'm sure it's helpful for me. But for others it doesn't work at all. Again, everyones conditions are truly different. I don't think it means that VF-11 doesn't work at all, it just means my conditions are working against the product.
