Nothing like getting plants right from the source to get good healthy ones before the stores have a chance to ruin them.

Shipping for Jan is going to be a whole lot cheaper than shipping out of state, as EA and Jan are both in FL. It probably only had to go an hour to get from the greenhouse to your house, Jan! Hopefully they won;t have to up the charges too much for far away orders, it would make it less than worth it.

My Linearis arrived today in pretty good shape considering it shifted in it's pot and part of the stems were down in the pot but I got it back in the pot properly and straightened out the stems so hopefully it won't have any ill effects from it's travels.

Shipping was $6.96 for me which I thought was a fair charge.

I am wondering though I got some cuttings last year and rooted them and they have a silvery gray coating to the leaves, is this how they look when they get older or is something to do with how they are grown?

Jo, your plant looks really nice and healthy too...that is not bad shipping all the way to Kansas. I paid a lot more when I ordered from other websites, some from FL a few hours from me...
