If you could grow any Brug as a tree, which would you pick?
Comments (1)I got some really nice ones from someone on ebay, Sommergardens was the seller. There are a lot of hybrids you don't see in the nurseries. I mean, double and triple flowers. I'm really pleased with his service, and with the plants he sent me. They can take the heat - our temps go up to about 100 or more every summer and they don't skipe a beat. It's the winter cold that will freeze them to the ground, at least in an area that has a mild winter. That first one is really something! They don't get that large in areas with a winter cold enough to freeze them back....See MoreWhich tomato seedling would you choose?
Comments (5)Thanks Carolync, I didn't know that potato leaf plants tended to be gangly. Yes, I have decided to give one of these seedlings up for adoption to a co-worker of mine. I think I might just keep the potato leaf variety simply because I don't have any idea what it is and it will be a fun surprise. I've already been there, done that with Amish paste. Thanks all...See Morewhich type of neighborhood would you choose/what DID you choose?
Comments (16)Either B or C...we're not the cheapest house in the neighborhood but there are some that are significantly larger/more extravagant/ pricier than ours. The neighborhood began development about 20 years ago. The original builder is completing the development. We actually chose the neighborhood before we decided to build. We chose it for the school system (best in the city), location (very close commute to work, shopping, highway, etc), and the overall feel. When we walked around while shopping for houses, other people stopped us to introduce themselves and tell us how much they liked their house, neighborhood, and the builder. We also ran into about 7 different acquaintances that all lived there! We looked at another development that is newer but the houses all backed up to each other so the backyards were not private. That was a deal breaker for us. We couldn't find a house in our price range to buy in our chosen neighborhood, so we bought the last lot and are currently builder. So far, relatively smooth sailing....See MoreWhich Three succulents Would You Choose ?
Comments (45)1. Espostoa blossfeldiorum - my very first succulent, my first ever plant actually. I've had it since 2012 and I finally identified it a few months ago after another relentless Google search. Very tough plant, didn't even flinch when we had that foot+ rain event. 2. Echeveria agavoides 'Red Tip' - my largest Echeveria, and the pot and top dressing match the plant perfectly. 3. Echeveria 'Blue Sky' - my favorite Echeveria cultivar, alongside the related 'Imbricata'. Also one of my largest Echeverias....See Moregreentoe357
