I'm with you - I'll garden before housework anyday! I sure am enjoying these cool mornings for the gardening. Welcome to the Georgia Gardening group. I've lived in the E. Cobb/Roswell area for the last 6 years, transplanted from Michigan VIA New England. I don't specialize in any type of plant - unless its the spontaneous purchased plant. Garden nursery shopping is the only shopping I like to do! This year I am concentrating on creating better bones in my garden. I have lots of fun stuff but not very good bones. I only managed to plant one of the three trees I wanted to plant this winter, so it looks like it will be slower going than I'd hoped - as usual. Now that things have sprouted I find more weed sprouts than I've ever seen in my life! I'll be spending the next two weeks on my hands and knees digging in the dirt. I won't skip the preen this time before I lay down the new mulch.

Hi Kay, Thanks for your reply! Great to meet you. At the moment we are trying to identify what plants we have in the field and what other stock we need to try and get in. We are relying on very old lists and one old member of staff who doesn't speak much english but hopefully has a good memory of what were planted where! We have lists where some irises are identified just by coulour and some by name but no idea of the colour!! To add to the fun we live in a different country so will not get to see the flowers bloom until we move down in a couple of years time!! At least we are giving this a go and are looking forward to the challenge! Cheers Muffie

Eric, Please give your dad a message from me....I've told him more then once how much I've enjoyed his website. Well, today it was his website that gave me the info that I needed to tell the difference between an Aug Moon and Richland Gold. Several times the "LEAF INDEX" on his website has helped me ID some of my NOID's. Just wanted you to let him know, OK?
