Since I don't have many daylily blooms, I took some pictures of other things around the garden.

Beautiful Daylilies and Garden shots. Wish my roses looked that good. They have been neglected the past few weeks and boy do they show it.

I thought your Purple Beautyberries was a Butterfly Bush. Had to look closer to see they were berries. I have not heard of it before. Sure is pretty.

There is a butterfly bush near those beautyberry shrubs but you can't really see it in the picture. The beautyberries, winterberries and the viburnums are only afew of the fruiting shrubs I have planted around here that produce berries that the backyard songbirds love to eat.

The mockingbirds especially love the beautyberries. Those were the ones I moved earlier this year before the rose planter projects. I actually like them better were they are now but its only afew feet from were they were before.

The winterberries provide food all winter long for the birds. Its really a holly and the females are planted here on the hill were I can see them from the office window. The poor male is stuck way in the backyard since he has none of those lovely berries but without him, none of the girls would either.

Everything is so lovely Rita. It is great to see your daylilies still blooming, my few have been long gone, in fact, my Stella's aren't even blooming. Love the beautyberries, they are native here and I have them all over, the birds really love them.

The only daylilies I have blooming still are Bodacious Blush and final Touch. I am so impressed with both of them. I have a couple more newer ones trying to bloom (or rebloom), but that won't happen. I hate to pinch blooms, but I will do it.

I don't know if the Beautyberries are native around here or not. I had to buy mine and plant them. One of my favorite shrubs as I think they are so pretty. The birds here have all sorts of berry goodies around here to eat but I planted every single one of them. My yard is very backyard songbird friendy. Same of the bees and butterflies. The yard actually looks pretty good for this late in the year.

Isn't it great to have blooms this late? Ollalie Mack would be my favorite of your lates above. Rich In Mercy looks like a gorgeous purple. And I love those large, red roses.

I have some reblooms today, but I can't get out to see them because it's raining too hard.

Rained overnight here, all night and morning but its trying to clear up now. Too wet to do anything outside though. I did just walk around the garden and looked at my rain soaked blooms.

VT FALL PINK MELON had its last bloom. But VT HOME COMPANION has another bloom today. This one started mid July and is a bud builder so it has blooms going every so often. Not as many now this late but still. VT RIGHT REGAL and VT BUTTERSCOTCH HARVEST are absolutely amazing, still blooming with buds to go. They were all just planted last year and I can't immagine what a show they will do once the plants have a chance to be more established.
