Bea, I've already downloaded it and made a list :o). I'm trying to pick some with smaller and narrower leaves and let's not forget fragrance. I've got sixteen on my list at present and am trying to whittle it down but not having much luck LOL.
So far the Fuchsia I've started for you is hanging in, if everything goes all right I'll get it to you this spring.

A......Good for you I am so glad it isn't just me not being able to whittle it down:) I am sure my order will be another big one I am trying to pick on the intermediates this time temp and leaf size. My favorites are the ones that do well in hanging baskets as well.
I forgot all about that Fuchsia. Your are such a sweetie... thankyou for getting one going for me. I am starting some new ones with seed again this spring but man are they slow in the first year. Those are such tiny seeds.
Someday I hope that we will have lots of Hoyas in Canada and be able to find the ones we want.That may be wishful thinking as there are lots of us who love the Hoyas:)

Thanks so much for the catalog, I too have quite the list....lol. I am trying to narrow it down a bit as well. How big are the cuttings? I have never ordered from a "real" grower. I can't believe how many different types there are, I will have to start doing this every year....lol. I am really in love with the Caudata, I just love the way they look, I also have my eye on a couple of the larger flower type hoya's. I can't wait, thanks so much for putting this all together. I would never do it on my own because of the costs, and I don't have any friends that collect hoya's like me, so you are a god send.

Your welcome. I am so glad you are having as much fun as I am, trying to choose which ones:) It is great fun, just as much fun as I had last year.
The H. caudata has a very pretty leaf. I got that one last year and it is doing fine. It has a rather thick leaf so it travels well. At least mine sure did.
As for cutting size that might be a good question to ask David himself. If anyone has a question about the hoyas David is more than happy to receive e-mails and answer them. I can tell you that I never saw a cutting under a two node size last year. Having said that most were very generous sized cuttings. In many of them I recut them to make 2 and 3 cuttings in one pot. I don't know if that is the usuall or not but I am sure you won't be disappointed.

Just to answer the cutting size question, they range in size from a 2-node cutting to 3 feet long!! If you get a long one, I'd recommend cutting it up so that you have a fuller plant, and I think smaller cuttings have a better chance at rooting well. I think the size of the cutting he sends depends on how available that particular hoya is.

I am doing the U.S. order, and I had difficulty cutting my list down too! I went through tons of scrap paper. And as crazy as I am, I'm also planning on going in on the Fall order too....that way, if I lose a certain cutting that I want, I'll be able to replace it in the Fall!! Also, I will be able to get the ones that I had to cut off my list this time. Yes, I'm too far gone :P

Gabi... You are a clever girl! and no not to far gone at all.. I'd say right where you should be when it comes to
Hoyas.

I could agree more with the idea of smaller cuttings. When they don't have roots to start with it is difficult for them to get water all the way done a long piece of vine and often you will loose a couple of leaves because of it. The ones I cut up were rooted very well plus the pot was a lot fuller to start with.
I am going to take cutting from the new growth of last year to fill up the pots as well.

Well I started out with 10, then it went to 12, then it went 16, then I thought what the h... let's make it twenty, David emailed me that he couldn't supply one of them so I gave him a sub. and Oh let's not forget the one I asked for that wasn't on his list. I was really trying to stay under control but what do you do when you can't make up your mind between two? I solved my dilemma, you get them both. I'm afraid this happened a couple of times LOL. Many I have ordered you guys have but Hoyas are not easy to find around here soooo that's my excuse.

Sometimes I'm so clueless, lol! LucieLove got me interested in seeing what David Liddle has and I got impatient to see his new catalog. I couldn't find it anywhere on the web and ended up being led right back to GW :) I actually thought this was from the Canadian Forum and thought (maybe) they all ready had this years' catalog. Duh! Oh, well, I ****guess**** I am just going to have to be patient! :)

Yeah, I don't think it has come out yet. Should be coming out soon though. I'm sure someone will post it on here.
