Knockout knocked me out! Wow! (Yeah, I really did say that :) Had to compliment Hippie on it, though.

I'm sitting this round out, no K's that I took pics of last year. Now, going to go research knockout to figure out how I missed that one?!?

Next year I have to put pictures in 26 a-z folders - can't find Korean Snow or Komodo Dragon.

Krossa Regal has been happily growing for years, a nice carefree hosta.

I have the name on the photo, can never spell this one. Kifukirin Ko Mame is a tiny thing. I had to put in in a 4 inch pot to keep it from being eaten. It looks like it will be a vigorous grower if I can keep the slugs away, but never big. Mature size is 3-5 inches.

Krossa Regal is a lovely hosta, did not know it was sterile. My plant is not doing so well, but then blues are not my forte here. Last year, my young KR had brown spots on the leaves, which might be that long strange word BKay says her Blue Angel is stricken with....I cannot recall what it is.

Won't be showing Krossa Regal, Kaleidochrome, Key Lime Pie, all too young or (Kaleidochrome) is on order.

Krossa Regal is a strong grower here. I think it has 100 eyes.

Kiwi Full Monty was purchased bare root from Naylor Creek in fall of 2011. By spring of 2013 it was lookin' pretty good.

H. 'Katsuragawa Beni' - a year old one...love the way the red petioles extend into the base of the leaf.

H. 'Kifukurin Otome Ki' - a two-year old...lovely little thing.

H. 'Krossa Regal' - one of my favourite blues ... It retains some blue throughout each season. Here are two of them, both divisions. When the peonies bloom, the blue is a knockout!

I almost forgot.......When I divided 'Kifukurin Otome Ki', I was surprised to find that it was a " stoloniferous" hosta...some of you may remember the surgery I performed and the ensuing discussion re stoloniferous root system...here is a pic to illustrate..

This one is so much a favorite you'll have to see three pictures of it. .

One stand out surprise for me last summer was King Tut. It had always been in lots of shade. It never got even slightly bright over the summer. I moved it to the west side with hot sun most of the day. It began to glow from within. I have quite a few other yellows on this side but this one stood out from all the rest.

Nice colors in the picture above, yellow King Tut with lavender flowers.

Some of the Krossa Regal's leaves are nice and "ripply", with great undulation. Others are flatter. Is that age, location, or just the luck of the draw?
