The hosta in the elevated planter is Sum and Substance, should really take off this spring (it's leap year). I have it underplanted with Golden Creeping Jenny so it drips down the planter sides in summer. The burgundy fern is just that, Japanese Painted Fern "Burgundy Lace". I love combining ferns and hostas, the textures make such a nice contrast. I think that fern would also look nice with a very blue, corrugated hosta or blue cupped hosta. Hmmm, maybe I will have to try that combo this spring !
