I'm down to only two blooming today, but they are nice ones.

LAVENDER STARDUST - This is one I got because of photos I saw here on Garden Web. It's been blooming for more than four weeks and has a few buds left.

So sad when those daylilies are done. I just about can't stand it but theres nothing that can be done. You know I love SUSAN WEBBER and LAVENDER STARDUST looks like a beauty.

I have MARDIGRAS PARADE but mine never blomed so I really enjoyed looking at your picture. LEE PICKLES is especially lovely too.

ANN: Yes,HEARTS OF FIRE does seem to be sunfast.Its just as bright and pretty at sundown as it was early in the day.It really is a gorgeous Red. JANET; I love looking at all the blooms too,and don't care if they have been posted before.They still new photos to me and I love seeing them..Yea,It was a miracle that the Vet and I saved Snoopy.She was n othing but skin and bones when she returned home,and I didn't know where this strange cat came from.And she was so so dirty.I kept standing there, looking down at her,asking "WHO ARE YOU?" "WHERE DID YOU COME FROM?" and she kept looking up at me,and I finally said "SNOOPY, IS THAT YOU?" She meowed so pitiful,I opened the door,and she tried to come in,and was having a hard time,so I picked her up,thinking I hope you are not some strange cat I am bringing in,when I don't know whats wrong with you.BUT, after I brought her in,and the way she looked me in the eye,I knew it was my snoopy.It was a sunday and the vet wasn't open on a sunday.I called a friend and asked if there is a way to reach the vet on a sunday,and he told me can call him at home,and I told him my snoopy has come home, but her leg is broken and I need the vet for her. So my friend called the vet at home,and then called me back,and said the vet is coming to his office in a little while.Then my friend came and drove me and snoopy to the vet.I was a wreck, worrying about my cat.Then the vet said her leg has to come off as its crushed, can't fix it like a broken leg, but, I have to feed her and put some weight on her,because right now she wouldn't survive.And I said you mean she has to stay in pain like this till I can fatten her up again? and he assured me she was not in no pain.So,it was about 10 days before he could do surgery on her.Her tail is broken too,about a inch or so from her body, but the vet says it be ok,as long as its not in the way when shes in the litter box.So far,shes doing great. RITA, I am the same way.Long as its a picture of a daylily,I don't care how many times its been posted. KAY, I always been told that several means 2 or 3. NANCY;What do you spray them with for Thrips? SHARON; The vet told me that after a few weeks,Snoopy will be running through the house like she has all 4 legs.I was so worried that she wouldn't be able to get around with just 3 legs. The vet was right.I have her mother, too,but,shes a outdoor cat.She don't like to stay in the house,and really I can't turn my back on her when shes inside.She likes to claw up furniture and howls to get out. Lupine in bloom and a few other pics

spedigrees - This is only the second year I have had Lupine. I planted 6 babies last year and 5 came back, but I am not sure if they are the originals or seedlings. For their size coming out of the ground, I'd guess this was their second year. I'll have to wait until next year to tell if I will get seedlings or need to plant babies again. The broken pieces actually came from a small table top that cracked. I thought they were so pretty that they could be stepping stones in the garden. Glad you think they are pretty too! pm2 - I think this is the classic Weigela florida ÂVariegataÂ that gets to 5' but there is a dwarf form, 'Nana'. The droopiness happened after our last big rain. It didn't happen last year or the year before, so I don't know the difference. Maybe it droops once the branches hit a certain length. If so, I'll look into chopping it back. It's definitely a bit awkward looking. But I love the flowers. kpaquette - The baptisia is 3 years old, so you won't have to wait long. Claire - Yes the cornus came from Katsura last spring. Salet starting to bloom and a few other pics

Anna-Lyssa, I can highly recommend Salet! Mine came from Roses of Yesterday and Today. It was actually sent to me as a mislabeled rose, and I wasn't too happy at the time, but it's more than proved its worth. As a newly planted rose, it bloomed all season with only brief pauses between flushes. Since I thought it was an Alba, it's growing in bright shade, so the rebloom really surprised me. I really like the shading of the blooms as they first open. It had no health issues and is well on its way to forming a nice shrub. Here are a couple of pictures of my young plant from last summer.

Lots of beauties here. I like Dark Wonder because it's NOT doubling.

I remember looking for Watson Park Eyes before (probably from a photo of yours). Did I hear that the hybridizer isn't in business any more?

OOOh, look at that Mardigras Parade. I really like the color on that one. Watson Park Eyes and Abundant Ruffles are really nice too.

Chris - Don Jerabek, the hybridizer of Watson Park Eyes, moved to California last year and doesn't seem to be selling daylilies at this time. Several people tried to contact him last winter with no success. I'm not sure if he will continue to hybridize or not. My Watson Park Eyes STILL has not increased. But I always enjoy the pretty blooms.

Oh... yep, yep. I have a love hate relationship with these posts! I LOVE the flowers... so pretty - they look just like I went out into the yard to look at mine....

And I HATE that I want all of them! Especially Roman Cohort - I remember this one from last year, and it is still on the Most Wanted list! :o)

Wow,I need to stay away from this forum.I want almosr every DL I see,and I do not have money for them(fixed income) and I just love SUSAN WEBER.she is a beauty.MARDIGRAS PARADE is gorgeous,too,and I really like DARK WONDER,,WINTER SPRINGS is so beautiful,and of course LEE PICKLES is gorgeous, tooWOW what some beauties you have

Great pictures, as always. I am glad you are still getting some blooms since we all enjoy seeing them. Did you get rain last week? It missed us but my husband said he got rained on in Nashville. Watson Park Eyes is my favorite. Since my blooms are winding down, I find I am spending far too much time (and $$) on the LA and hybridizers' websites.

Debra, Beauties for sure! I've been wanting MARDI GRAS PARADE for awhile. Thanks to this post I have added it to my "Wanted" list on the LA. Maybe it will pop up there.

Just love that pix of Lee Pickles. I have Lavender Stardust too, but it hasn't bloomed yet this year....hope when it does that it looks as nice as yours.
