After the Names are Drawn Some People Will Go to Their Local Nursery and Pick Out a Hosta Both Not on the Persons List Receiving the Box and One that as the Sender Would Really Like in His/Her Garden.
Of Corse this Means You Will Need to Locate a Plant with Multiple Crowns...At Least 2.

This is Why I Have the Above Original Post to Say:

...at Least One(1) Named Hosta Plant.
(You are Allowed to Send More if you Choose but...You Must Send at Least One(1) Healthy, Disease Free, Named Variety of Hosta, with at Least One(1) Eye and Sufficient Roots for Planting).
Please Only Send a Hosta(s) that You Would be Happy to Receive and Plant in Your Garden.

It is Fun and Everyone Appreciates Any and All Hosta(s) that are Sent.

Besides There are Some Great Deals Right Now Out there on the Internet and at Hosta Growing Farms/Locations Everywhere.

I Can Think of 3 Right Off Hand that Have Really Great Deals on Multi-Eyed Plants.
(But I Can Not Give There Names Here...That Would be Advertising).

People can post their Hosta Want & Have lists on their Garden Web Exchanges page by clicking on "Member Pages" at the bottom of any page, then click on "Edit Your Exchange Lists". Put your Hosta Have List under "Plants I have to trade" and your Hosta Want list under "Plants I am looking for" then click on the submit button at the bottom of the page once you have your lists added.

Doing this will help so that you don't receive hostas that you already have and you might also receive hostas from your want list.

Just wanted to let you know my package to my secret hostaholic will go out on monday, We got hit with 75mph winds on monday and been busy cleaning up trees/leaves/sticks. Didn't want to send today and have it sit in the PO over the weekend. Thanks for you patience and I will send the tracking number on monday.

Chuck - I'm so glad they arrived safely. I had fun shopping and found a few new ones that we could share. Lelan, thanks for organizing! You got some fantastic plants, I had to go to the Hosta Library to look a couple up.

My box arrived today! I am completely blown away. Thank you "franknjim", I love everything you sent.
I received seven hosta: Samuel Blue; Gypsy Rose; Midas Touch; Electrocution; Hush Puppy; Little Stiffy; and Stiletto. Three of these were on my wish list! The hosta arrived in great condition, healthy, and with great root systems!! They are soaking right now. The color on Samuel Blue is amazing. They are all welcome additions to my garden. Many thanks!! One more comment. They were sent in a medium mailing "tube". I have to get some of those. Great for mailing a bigger hosta.

Woodthrush, glad they got there safely, my DH can sleep now! His first time packing! Hope there's enough crown on Slick Willie, it was the first one we divided. I think we got better as we went along. Glory Hallelujah was so root bound in the pot that hardly any soil was in the bucket after rinsing it out. We almost gave up on that one!

BTW, it's Millie's "Memoirs".

I hope they grow well for you and bring you as much joy as it did for us! The giving was as much fun as the receiving was.

yah hoo! My package came today! I am so excited! Gary from PA sent me American Hero, Vulcan, Grecian Vase, Cracker Crumbs, and Heuchera"Redstone Falls! Gary I didn't have any of these hosta's, I am excited to give them a new home. I also have a second love-Heuchera, so I am glad to add Redstone Falls to my collection. Thank you so much! We are in a heat wave, so I will be finding a home that I can keep close watch on them!

brrejr - i don't think you are late at all! I believe the mailing deadline is early this week because of the heat,,etc so you are well within the window.

Mary - thise are wonderful hostas and I think a lot of hosta people also are heuchera people too - lucky you for getting such a nice package.

It's true! Good things come to those who are patient, and sometimes to those who aren't LOL!!! Brrejr sent a VERY generous package and my mailman (who knows me all too well) tracked me down at the pool and hand delivered it to me so they wouldn't sit in the heat waiting for me to come home.
