Cindee, I have never been to a plant swap, but I would love to come. I don't know that I'll have many plants to bring, but I'd be happy to bring food, camera, and a strong back for helping out. There's always the outside chance that DH will surprise me with an anniversary trip, but I think I'll
be here. I've enjoyed reading everyone's comments and viewing their pictures -- it'd be great to finally meet.

The SuperliciousSwapSoiree team met today, we really planned to talk about getting the swap organized, but we spent the majority of the time talking plants, gardens, people. Imagine that! Seriously, we did set some ideas in motion to make this a great event. We have already had a wonderful response and the idea of the following day getting to view and stroll through 2-4 more gardens in Cape Coral seems so great. How often does one get to go to a swap and then go garden hopping. Barb, Lady and I are hoping to hear from more of you, soon. My aloysia is about 8ft tall. I love it! I will post a picture of it this afternoon. I think it is considered a small tree. At least that is how I have trained mine.

Yes, the Tampa swap is September 1st. I am suprised at the lack of activity on the Tampa thread since there is quite a few gardenwebbers in the area. Hopefully they will respond to it soon. But I am still fine with it if it is a smaller group. And I am excited to see Tampaarts garden. The pictures he has posted in the past were really nice.

Who hasn't spoken up that is maybe 'thinking' of making it. What can 3 georgous gardening Ho-Hostesses do to entice you? (withing reason please! lol) Come on-let's talk SWAP!

We plan on coming to both swaperooos. We have some relatives in Tampa that are interested in plants and hope to convince them to come along to the Tampa swap and maybe even to the Ft Myers one too. They have a lot of experience and have never heard of a swap.

I am looking forward to it, just dont have a bunch of stuff at the moment but working on it.

Edisons Home/Lab were soooo impressive to see. It was soooo good we had to go see his other home up in Edison NJ. Who knows where we all might be if it had not been for Edision. He is responsible for so many things that most folks dont even know about.

We owned a residential lot in Port Charlotte many yrs ago, I may zoom past that and see what a mistake I made by selling it.

I hope I can get the aunts to come along, they are a riot. I will be surprised if I get them to go to the Tampa one even.

Been starting plants, seems we can only do it in the evenings here and in the shade. My stash is looking more promising all the time.

Hey Amber-how do I start some Tithonia cuttings? Anything special? The plant you gave me a few years ago is a huge Tree/Shrub, now. It gets covered with delicious homey smelling golden flowers in the fall. I remember you telling me it's easy to start and i thought I'd share some at the swap.

Cindee, that plant is a slut. Cut it, stick it in a glass of water and step back, or cut it and stick it in moist potting soil and make room. If it falls over and hits the ground, it will root from that. It's as bad as a brug.

Cindee you know I don't get online very much. As usual there is more talk on the trade side of this. I have had people contacting me privately as well as on here. Many of the plants I listed are spoken for. I gotta do inventory later and see whats left.

I will be at the swap. I need to learn a whole lot from you ladies cause I just started gardening last year and don't know much. Please let me know what kind eating goodies you like and I will cook something up too. Or I can bring a cooler with sodas. Let me know.
