Monarda, etc . . . mint, etc?

I have some nice Korean mint started in the greenhouse and making its first debut outdoors today. I have learned that it is an Agastache rugosa. It will join wild bergamot (Monarda fistulosa), which is nearly identical in appearance at this stage, along with a couple of other herbs in a tea garden.

Once again, I am growing anise hyssop (Agastache anethiodorum) and pleased to have it back. The neighbor has some lovely Monarda didyma in his ornamental garden that I've long admired.

Monarda, bee balm, bergamot, agastache, anise hyssop . . . mint???

Of course, they are all related to a greater or lesser degree but in this confusion of names, it is almost criminal to call this one plant Korean mint. How do you refer to plants in this family without confusing yourself or others? Or, is it just me?
