Dpol..you said, "other than some mites, the tree appears to be happy." Your ML looks great, but if you don't rid those mites, they'll kill your tree. I agree with NJ regarding scale. Scale are brown bumps that can be scraped off. They hide on upper and lower leaves and stems, in-between stems. The sticky residue is honeydew, secreted by scale, mealy or aphids. Honeydew attracts ants. Inspect your tree thoroughly to ID which insect might be on your ML. I make a home-made insectide to rid and kill mites. In a 16oz or so sprayer bottle, water, 2-4 drops dish soap, lemon ride or juice, garlic and hot pepper. Liquids can be replaced for garlic, citrus rind and hot pepper. There are different types of insecticides and oils. My favorite is Fish Emulsion, although many people like Neem Oil. Both are organic. One reason I prefer FE to Neem is, it's an organic fertilizer. When leaves are sprayed, it not only rids/kills scale, but works as a foliar feeding, too. Keep an eye on your Meyer's, see how it does. Good luck, Toni

I too think the 1st is Aloe striata hybrid, the subtle stripes in the leaves & the white margins: I have one quite like it, but my ID is not official.. # 2, some kind of Kalanchoe, I have this too, but don't know its name. #3, Kalanchoe tomentosa #4, Echevaria unknown #5, Graptopetalum, Pachyphytum or Ech. #6, Graptopetalum or some kind of Crassula #7, yes to Easter cactus (whose name I forget) to 5 & 6, I could tell better w/ a diff. view, hard to tell if they're rosettes or not. They might like better light, more sun. The #5, w/ the whitish 'bloom', mars easily when watered or handled, best to try & handle it by its stem (if possible). Lovely, healthy, happy looking plants all, nice finds. Congrats to you!

Celeste - I didn't remove the first bloom either - lol. It was one of the Westbourne Good Old Days, but darn! - didn't make note at the time which one it was. It had 3 blooms in all. And this season, when everything started blooming, most of the first blooms weren't all that nice. It seemed like the plant would have a "dress rehearsal" before deciding how it was going to look, and then one morning...BOOM! Heather - all the Westbourne tets were good size - 6+ inches. Height varied but averaged at least 30". That one with the wonderful eye was the tallest of them - sorry, don't have specs at moment, but over 30 inches. I thought you'd like that odd purple Wandering Werribee - lol. Alex
