Wildflower Planting Question

Hi all,

We have a new property in east Georgia with about 3,000 feet of driveway. Yikes! Along the first 1,000 feet or so, I have prepared the ground with my tractor and have bought some native perennial wildflower seed. I'm concerned if I plant it alone that the weeds will come back and take it over, so I'm thinking of planting a grass seed with it at the same time to shade out the weeds. However, I'm not positive that's a good idea, so I'm looking for advice. If it is, what kind of grass? I'm concerned grasses like bermuda will be too much, so maybe fescue or rye grass.

Thanks for any help you can provide!
