Soooo Many Apples...

No chemical spray but very little damage other than birds tastings and a little scab! Three bushels from the first tree!!! Still some on the second tree but already one bushel.

Now the problem:

I don't remember the varieties I planted where. It was years ago (when the place was a "cabin") and I can't find the planting chart I would have done. (Maybe still at the "marital home")

I think one is a cross of red delicous/Jonathan and the other a cortland?

Possible Cortland (or Jonathan) has crisp white flesh, rounded form, and medium size apple. Sweetened after the frost hit. Sweet tart. Very juicy.

Other (Jon-a-red??) were smaller, red all over and has the characteristic butt of the delicious.

(3rd tree in field back by woods is probably the Gala) Someone stripped THAT tree under cover of woods. I guess it was easier to take apples next to woods/slanted hill that to get the ones in the yard without being seen.
