Re-doing both big daylily beds completely! Aack!

The front bed has 45 daylilies in it and no paths so I need to redo it to add a path for deadheading. Plus, I don't like where many things are placed. I will have to dig up and move about 35 of the 45 daylilies! The poor things will take another few years to get comfy again! AACK!

Then, the back big bed, which has about 40 daylilies and other perennials, has to be completely overhauled because we are putting in a new fence and adding about a foot of dirt to make it level. SO, they need to be dug up and then just put back in.

I know in the end (a couple years from now) I'll be pleased with the results, but I also know that many will not be happy being moved around and will look and perform badly for me next year and maybe even the year after.

This is what I get for being a non-planner. I can plan other people's gardens easily, but when it comes to my own - nope.

Don't expect great pics from me next year. :I
