You still have a pretty good number of blooms there. PATRICIA SNIDER MEMORIAL has a great eye. I'm a sucker for the creams with rosey pink eyes, and that one looks fantastic. I really like RFTQ too.

I actually love the coloring and pattern on PATRICIA SNIDER MEMORIAL the way it is now. Looks good to me. But all my favorites from this batch are from the group you just took after the rain. If they don't get shredded by took much rain, daylilies look really good with raindrops on them! WORLD TRAVELER looks amazing and that is the best looking ROYAL JESTER I have ever seen.

The rain was too much for today's blooms. Everything looked like wadded up tissue. It was especially annoying as I missed first bloom on Victorian Lace, which had a huge polytepal bloom.

Zephyr's Song looks great and Kokopelli is excellent as usual.

Thank goodness you didn't lose Robes For The Queen! What a trooper it is, not only bouncing back, but blooming too.

I can't tell you how much I enjoy seeing your pictures of Last Snowflake. They are just so you-LOL. If it ever comes down to the $20.00 range I hope you let all of us know so we too can enjoy it. All your pictures are amazing on this last batch. I don't usually care for purples, but World Traveler looks awesome with all those raindrops on it, and I do like miniatures so Witches Thimble is right up my ally..Maryl

Maryl - I'll let you know if I ever see Last Snowflake for $20. I did see it on the Lily Auction for $35 not long ago.

Edward - Sorry to hear the rain beat up your blooms so badly. Zephyr's Song is getting better and better. I couldn't believe how large it was the other day. It's bloom was larger than Last Snowflake!

Rita - I like the way PSM looks too. But that's not the way it will usually look. I like to warn people who may see my photo and buy it thinking that is the way it will always look. Notice Linda said she is a sucker for creams with pink eyes - Well that just isn't what PSM would be for her, should she buy it. I like to warn people, but sometimes they don't read the text. It's yellow with a red eye normally.

Kay - I think you will like PSM. Mine got curlier as the sun warmed it up later in the day. Chocolate Ruffles is a striking daylily. Unfortunately it fades badly in the afternoons. I need to plant it where it gets afternoon shade.

If the name is CHOCOLATE RUFFLES, where is the brown coloring? My monitor shows a burgundy color to the bloom.

We had rain last night into this morning and many of my blooms are opening just great.

This is a terrific group. I'll have to check out WORLD TRAVELER for the size alone. That's the best photo I've seen of ROBES FOR THE QUEEN -- it's been so splotchy in other pics I've seen that I never considered it. PSM is one I've had my eye on, also.

Chris - ROBES FOR THE QUEEN is one of the least splotchy toothed cultivars. MORT MORSS is the splotchy, awful one.

Juliany - CHOCOLATE RUFFLES is usually a darker maroon in our normal warm temperatures, and it tends to look more red than maroon in photos. But we've been having nice cool temps for the past few days. I feel like I've taken a vacation to Canada. Personally, I don't think CR looks very "chocolate". Here's a pic of it in warmer temps.

Royal Jester is new to my garden this year, but hasn't bloomed yet. Hope it looks as vibrant as your beauty.

Kathy - I'm glad someone got the reference to song. I was humming Singing In the Rain while I was photographing. LOL Glad I could bring you a smile.

Earlier this week, a lady stopped her car, rolled down her window and said she just wanted to tell me how much she loved my gardens. Here's what she said: "Whenever I've had a bad day at work, and I come around this corner and see all those flowers, it just makes me smile and forget my troubles." So, daylilies are good theraphy and much cheaper than a psychiatrist!
