Best Materials for Building Raised Beds

My wife and I are preparing to build new raised garden beds (planter boxes) for a vegetable garden. We've been trying to decide what material to build the boxes out of - treated lumber, cedar, cypress, or plastic decking material (like Trex). The boxes will be 16' long and 4' wide. We've heard that chemicals can leach from treated lumber and plastic decking, so they shouldn't be used for vegetable gardens. Seems like cedar or cypress are the best ways to go, but we weren't sure about their durability here in florida. Thoughts?
