These are all FFO open today.

AUGUST SUNSET a 2009 intro by Stu Kendig. One of the ones I bought sight unseen from the Perfect Perenials Catalog.

DESERT MOON never bloomed last year but since I moved it last August, its blooming this year.

HARLAN'S PRIDE. A 2009 intro by Dale Thomas. One of the ones I bought sight unseen from the Perfect Perenials Catalog.

MARLYN LEE BOCK FFO. Needs lots of improving. One of those I bought from Blueridge.

PROOF POSITIVE FFO from Charmaine Rich. Needs to improve but I can see its going to be striking when it settles in.

LONGLESSON SHOWOFF FFO from Melanie Mason. Never bloomed last year.

ON LINE from Don Herr. This one has instant rebloom scapes coming from two of the fans already.

SPACECOAST DREAM CATCHER FFO. Never bloomed last year.

Wow,Rita.Your buying sight unseen looks like it paid off great.AUGUST SUNSET is gorgeous,and so is HARLAN'S PRIDE.Love that red. DESERT MOON is very pretty, too. PROOF POSITIVE is going to be a real beauty, too.Thats my favorite one,and HARLAN'S PRIDE is right behind it. Gorgeous photo's. I see a kind of Orangy Red one behind SPACECOAST DREAM CATCHER what is that one,Looks very pretty,too.

The roses are beautiful. I can almost smell them. I love the wildflowers. I have a small bed with several different trillium and a lonely yellow lady's slipper. Lots of Jack in the pulpit and ginger with the blue star and some that I don't know the names of. Happy to see a daylily blooming. I have a few scapes but it's been extremely dry so they are a little slow. Ellie

Tangerine Horses and Big Sur are my favorites of this bunch. I really like russian sage with daylilies but have not had enough room for it. In the fall I'm taking down an ugly tree and then there will be room. Yay. I love the airy look with daylilies and it was super with your Tangerine Horses. Christine

I haven't deadheaded much either. But on the ones I didn't, I had seed set on a lot of them and had to pluck them off. I did keep a few on without the pollen parent, so in a year or two, I'll have a new crop of unknowns.. my choice of your beautiful daylily photo is Royal Frosting. It sure is a pretty one...Ellie

Thanks Karen, Punk, Syble, and Lynn for the nice comments. I know I am fortunate to have as many family 'heirlooms' as I do considering that few in my family were collectors. I wouldn't have very many home decor accessories at all if I hadn't started yard-saling! The green bunnies are the made in C. faux antiqued cast iron things that I try not to buy too often but couldn't resist when I saw them in one of those cute little gift shops. I also have a little bird that's similar. Have to occasionally buy new things as I love shopping especially when we travel. I had too many things on my sideboard when I posted the covered cake server before. I'm trying to keep things less cluttered altho that seems to be my challenge lately. I should limit myself to 5 things in a vignette, altho I don't think that's realistic for me. More likely to be 15! ;-D I hope others will use their doilies. There are so many things one can do with them. I'm thinking of making a doily bowl once I get my things organized.

I was very happy with the bloom on AUGUST SUNSET and on HARLAN'S PRIDE also. The orange daylily in back of DREAM CATCHER is LAVA FLOW, one of my two Frank Smith intros. With budcounts of 4-5 here, I am sure I will not getting any others.

I expect you'll get the improvement in Marilyn Lee Bock. FFOs can be so annoying. I love Kitty, Kitty and Dreamcatcher.

Desert Moon has a VERY interesting eye, and I really like On Line, also! Wonderful to have your pics coming in again! Glad yall's bloom season has started up there! Jan G.

PRIMAL SCEAM opened today. It never bloomed last year so this is truly a FFO. Looks like it needs lots of help before it looks like the flowers I have seen in others gardens.
