Comments (3)Ginny is your Osmanthus fragrans hardy in your area or do you have to move it for the winter? I've tried a few but have yet to find one that's hardy in my zone. I'm in Montgomery Co, MD so it's the same climate. Comments (7)I use cuttings of this years growth taken August thru Sept. the cuttings are taken with a heel from a side branch. Comments (30)Am I missing something in these posts? Why are people ordering Osmanthus fragrans from websites outside the country? I can go on almost any U.S. mail order nursery site and find Osmamthus fragrans available in sizes ranging from a 4" pot to five gallon size pots... And every size in between ... All for a reasonable cost and reasonable shipping charges. I myself have an Osmamthus fragrans I ordered last spring... And it was delivered safe and sound to my doorstep three days later.
