No, never did. Too easy to root about 3 cuttings per glass of water on the east kitchen windowsill. Change the water after 4 days or so, cool. They root in 2 to 3 weeks. My pink ones took a little longer than the red ones. I've kept mine going from some I bought several years ago. I have them in planters and pots I overwinter in the sunroom but am getting weary of taking care of them. They can be practically dead, water them and usually spring back to life. They're pretty tough, must store water in the stems and not prone to diseases. But outside in the sun to keep them nice, you have to water them frequently. I keep them in pots and put rocks around the top so the squirrels don't get in them, sometimes do anyway. Sometimes they need pruning back but not too far down, like leave about 2 inches about 1/4 above a node, lost one by pruning too hard. They grow back and bloom pretty fast.

You are welcome. Don't forget blanket flower too - it's daisy like, very pretty colors. I used to sow flower seed in spring but they never came up. Someone on another board told me to sow in fall for spring blooms so that is what I do now. Good luck. Post pics in the spring so we can see how everything turned out.
