Maybe the curl is wilt? LOL! J/K. I don't know why I keep this plant around, habit and sentimentality, it's been through most of my life with me. Just because it's indestructible doesn't mean it isn't fussy if one wants a good-looking one ALL of the time, yet in a too-small pot. I guess it's just like one of those bad kids a mother loves anyway, overlooking the bad behavior and unkempt appearance. Why don't I just stop trying to cram it into the same little hanging basket? Also forgot to mention that the number of individuals in a pot would affect how quickly the pot fills with roots. There's 5-7 in that trimmed clump in my hand. That's a lot for such a small pot and I know that. A single plant in the same pot would "last longer" but I like the appearance with a ton of leaves and many babies, even if it causes the plant to decline more quickly and repotting to come more often. If it was in some dark stuffy corner, it wouldn't grow as fast, there's that too. There's a whole gray area between just up-potting undisturbed roots and the drastic pruning from my pic. One could choose to trim less overall, or just remove the biggest "carrots." Or separate individual plants and just trim the roots of one. Braid them. (Just seeing if anyone read this far.)

I Googled "flat stemmed lily", and I found this thread. I'm glad I did because I have one of my own. I KNEW I didn't plant this last year! Looks like it will bloom!

A fungicide drench will certainly help, but in most cases will not eliminate rust. On the backs of the leaves, the areas are raised and fuzzy in texture as well as rust colored. This is because rust is spread by spores and that is where they are. The most important step in eliminating rust is to rogue out the infected/leaves or plants, so that the spores are not present and able to infect further.

Tragusa/Molly - I agree, they look Victorian and I like that style of home but decided not to build a victorian home because I figured I would tire of it quickly....hmmmm. BJ - you're second response, was indeed, as sweet as honey :) and on target. CindyLou-we do have a 2 story foyer but I think it will hang high enough where we won't have to look in it. But I definitely will double check that. Dixie - We have axed the sconce. The main reason is that is in a totally different part of the house and we realized it just didn't work there. Bungeii/lindy - Great minds think alike, right? Even- I'd hang plain lightbulbs everywhere if somebody would like to offer to pay my mortgage LOL Here is what I decided to do. Like Jilliferd, I finally realized that everything does not have to match. I'm not going for the same feel in every room so they don't have to have the same lights. The foyer and formal dining room will have these lights. The kitchen and breakfast area are a lot more comfy and cozy so I'm going to find something in a similar finish but not as victorian/overdone/fancy. I actually slept all the way thru the night last night so this must be the right decision. Ha ha. You guys definitely helped me,more than you can imagine. Thanks!
