Ready to get started swapping seeds?

Hi there everyone!

I noticed quite a few of you in the economy thread said you wished to swap seeds this year. That is my plan as well, though I've been swapping seeds for years.

If you've never joined a seed swap, now's a great time. I have a thread started in the round robin forum that is open to anyone who wishes to join. It is titled "Winter blues swap sign up".

Last year there were lots of great cottage garden seeds, as well as veggie seeds. I'd love to see you all join in the fun!

Anybody who wanted to join this swap should nip on over and join -- the swap closes Dec. 31.

I passed. Am I missing out on some great opportunities? I just order off on occasion for hybrids and things I think I really want from a seed vendor.

I'm hosting a swap myself or else I would join. I just don't have the energy. LOL

If you are planning on putting them in a shady location you shouldn't have any problems with harding them off on your shady carport. If however you are planning on putting them in a sunny location you will probably need to give them some partial shading for a few days once they are transplanted, especially if it's sunny and hot.

Hi Beth, I wanted to let you know that your seeds arrived. I also wanted to thank you for the tea and the bag rest. I love them! The little tea bag rest matches my bedroom theme. I have shades of sandy and dark browns with palm trees everywhere. Kinda like a beach cabanna type theme. I think I'll use that little bag rest on my night stand to hold my rings at night.Thanks again! Kelly
