After looking over the available dates left to get the Supervisor's Club shelter for the swap, Cathy noticed that many of the Saturday's are already taken. We have chosen September 8, 2007 as the date for this years plant swap and we hope this works for everyone who wants to come and join the fun. June 10th is this Saturday, can't wait to meet all the new gardeners. Don't worry about not having a lot of plants, there will plenty to take home with you. I am bringing another truck load with me to the swap. Named Hosta Named Daylilies Named Coleus, sun and shade varieties EE's Grasses Canna Dahalia Unnamed Iris Yellow/brown tall bearded Snap Dragon Day/Night and lots more. Linda and her Hubby are going to do a demo on making plant tags, they are wonderful to use in the garden. Now I need to go and check on plants that I promised people that I would bring to the swap. Murial, your beans will be fine. We have electric at the shelter. Cornbread or corn muffins sounds wonderful. I just wanted to post a note about Door Prizes. Anyone who is interested in bringing a Door Prize will be included in the Door Prize drawing. When I posted the original updated info regarding the Plant Swap, I wasn't sure we were going to do Door Prizes but after talking to Cathy about it, we are going to do them again this year. I always try to paint something for my contribution to the DP's and this year, I will be bringing a hand painted (cover), leather Gardener's Journal. Let me know if you have any questions.
