Testing Waters for a Charleston SC, Seed/Plant Swap

Hello,

I organized a plant swap last July and was pleased with the results. Well, it is almost Spring and I figure everybody is gathering, planning and ordering seeds to plant. I know for a fact that I have more seeds than I can plant of some things, I have already started my Tomatoes and Peppers, and have extra of these. I have a few extra plants to swap too! SO, I was thinking maybe the first part of March (date to figure later, I have a few places to check to see if we can use) We could have a Charleston SC Seed/Plant swap and kick off the Spring with a real Bang!! We will be there(I hope). We will have alot of stuff to trade and sell. We will be selling Earth Healer(tm) from the Mepkin Abby if people are interested. Can e-mail me if want some so I can be sure to have enough. Will be bringing alot of plants from the GH's at the Abby to trade. Looking for outdoor plants that are not invasive. Well, we made our trip and it wasn't the best. There was a multi fatality accident on 95N and we sat still for 3 hours. By the time we got to Charleston all of the gardens were closed. All we really wanted by that time was a glass of wine, dinner and a bed. We had a difficult time maneuvering in the town. Street signs were sometimes nonexistent. We found High Cotton first so that is where we had dinner. I can highly recommend this restaurant. It was a wonderful dining experience. While we were walking around trying to find the restaurants we walked through the city market. Most of the vendors had packed up and gone home for the night but there were still a few that were open. I noticed several vendors were selling knives. This was a bit unsettling. Anyway, we had to leave early the next morning to meet our deadline so I didn't see much of Charleston but I saw enough to know that I just have to return later in the summer. Thanks guys!
