I don't think so ...

The green house I bought this fuchsia from labeled it as Californica but an internet search brings up totally different plants.

Anyone have any thoughts as to what this is?

I thought it was a hardy upright and now I don't know.

Ok .. this is odd but all my posts are going missing and I have to post them twice to get them to show up on the forum.

Anyway .. I emailed the greenhouse again and asked if she could have a look at the picture. She called this a Gaffrey Lye but an internet search only brings up one page with no information what so ever.

Here is a link that might be useful: Gaffrey Lye

ha .. then I ask them again and they reply "Oh, it's also known as Galfrey Lye" (me thinks you are starting to blow smoke out your bottoms)

Galfrey Lye is described as white to pale blush sepals with carmine petals and looks nothing like the flower on my plant. Comparison photo attached.

    Anyone???

What about Joan Cooper? It's pretty! :)

    It's an upright:

There is indeed an upright Fuchsia named 'California' (not 'Californica') which much resembles your picture:
