I entered several photos in each category, but I'm glad the one that won was a daylily from a northern hybridizer. I think overall the northern hybridizers get less recognition than the Florida big boys. And Ruby Lipstick is a truly superior daylily.

I said that last year Debra, your pictures are better than 90% of the current hybridizers.

I think you refrenced that would be a dream job. Im on record right now to tell you that if any of those big boys are out there.. they should be CONTACTING you to sell thier product, instead of putting the washed out , ugly enhanced photos that they do.

... and no Im not trying to start another thread on that, Im trying to say how impressed with your photography I am.

Chris - You will love Ruby Lipstick. It's an absolutely flawless plant. Mine is double scaping again this year. I doubt that Benz will give me a cut on orders, but if I order something else from him, he'll probably send a ton of nice bonuses.

Well, then it's definitely worth ordering! I only ordered a few plants this year but I knew Ruby Lipstick was at the top of the list. Unfortunately, I may not get to see it bloom this year. I am a very impatient gardener.
