Mulberry Tree/s wanted!

I'm in need a larger-ish shade tree mostly to protect from the incoming winds from the N/NW during the winter months. I like in North Orange County just out side of Lake, I could throw a rock and hit Lake County. That said with my elevation I'm closer to a 9a than 9b we hit around 22* this winter on more than one occasion lost all my citrus trees(they were young) Anyways I've never had a mulberry before, but I do love raspberries and I hear a lot that the pakistan and oscar varieties taste like them. I havent been able to find any info on Oscars around here but Pakistan seem to do well in this zone, but I can not find any anywhere. If someone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

I just planted a White and a Pakistani about a week ago. I got mine from raintree nursery but I think they are all out now; you can still find the Pakistani one at groworganic dot com

The one I planted 3 years I found out was a non-fruiting one. I'm wanting one that produces fruit. The red raspberries I have to trade are the everbearing red ones which produce twice a year. Very good tasting.

I live in NE Baltimore and have 6 mulberry trees on my property (with both white and blue mulberries). Let me know if you're still interested and I will look around for some seedlings. We bought the house last year and still have so much yard work to do. I appreciate all the help, I grabbed a Pakistan from ediblelandscaping.com confirmed they are in stock. Trying to find info on the Oscar here.

If you have the room you can grow raspberries here, Mysore. It is a black raspberry with wicked thorns. Long as they are mulched and watered they grow fast and produce great fruit. A pic of mine from last year.
