trying to obtain possibly two cuttings

My attention only turned to this fig variety only after it being mention on a recent posting here on the forum. It's the Violetta fig. If anyone can supply me with at least two cuttings from this tree so I can see if it will do well in my zone 5.

I have I think at the last count 20 trees but many are very young. As it stands now they are in 5-gallon pots mostly because of their size. Most are not ready to take cuttings from at this stage. I do have a couple of older fig trees and because I don't have them covered as yet I might be able to take and trade cuttings if youÂre interested. If you want to know what I can part with write me at pezzuti@verizon.net.

If a trade is not possible I am willing to take the pay as you go method. I would pay for postage, cuttings and a little for your time if need be.

From what I read it seems like it would be a good tree to get going in my area. Would be interested in knowing what you people that have the tree already think about it.

Thanks for your time.
