Beautiful as usual. Forsyth's Ace of Hearts is my favorite and the picture of it is just fantastic. I also really like Call Me Pretty. Well named as it is very pretty.

Pretty bunch of daylilies! Call Me Pretty is aptly named and my pick today.

I love those pink ones with the red eyes. I realize it's a fairly common color combo, but that doesn't lessen my pleasure in the least.

And the other Forsyth is really good, too. I've seen only one Lefever intro in a garden (quite near here, in fact), so I'm glad you've posted those pics. If you have any more, I'm interested!

I'd also get that Kinnebrew in a heartbeat. I've seen a few, in the same garden, so I know there are some that do quite well up here.

BTW, Kay, I'm pretty sure that's a Wilkinson intro, not one of Richard Norris's. Her plants have been doing super-duper fantabulously for me. In fact, I just added three more this year.

Like them all,, again. BVB is a great color, looks like velvet.

So, Kay, when did you spray for the thrips,?? I am all ready, I ordered the Spinosad ( got it today) and I have my pump sprayer ready. I have buds on Berry Cheesecake, and can see the bumps. So, do I spray, as buds are forming, or do I wait until I start to see bumps? I have a lot of the dark daylilies and have had damage in the past. Thanks, didn't mean to get away from the topic and didn't really want to start a new post.

Cindy - Spray ALL the buds on Berry Cheesecake, and spray all the daylilies near that one. If you haven't had a major infestation before, I would just spray the cultivars that have bumps on the buds.

Kay - I like your new ones. Tied for top favorite are Call Me Pretty and Forsyth Ace of Hearts.

There are a few others I really like, and although they start slowly here, they build to speed pretty quickly.

Cindy, spray as soon as the buds appear...if you wait for the bumps, some damage is done. Some of mine are bothered, and some don't seem to be. BVB does look like velvet, but I know not everyone would like it...but I do.

I like all of these! Forsyth's Spellbinder looks like one I would really like,Call Me Pretty is gorgeous, Black Velvet Baby is really cute with that bright green eye against the dark petal. Ace of Hearts is a beauty, like I said, I like all of them.

Thank you ngraham. Spellbinder has different faces...sometimes it is a lot more orange, and it often has extremem frills. Hopefully the spray will end the thrip problem. I do like eyes and hot colors.

Thanks, Chris, Call Me Pretty is a pretty bloom and not much bothered by thrips for some reason. Most years, I get one or two from Roycroft...or six or seven:).
