hummingbirds and moths

In addition to the hords of flies, bees, wasps, and hornets, I have two additional visitors which I find interesting: hummingbirds and moths. The hummingbirds are daytime visitors, especially showing up in the morning. I am not sure if they simply go for the honey-like drippings of the fruit, or if they also go after the fruit flies, which they are known to eat. At my approach they fly off a few feet and chatter at me.

The moths are there at night, and they actually sit on the fruit, probably to sip at the sap. I have caught quite a number of them in my wasp/hornet traps. An interesting feature is that their eyes glow when you shine a flashlight at them, it is rather erie. They are about an inch in body length, and just a plain light brown.
