Help- fig cuttings by force

jim_jennings

Hello,

I am a new member. I take great pride in my fig tree although I am not sure of the botanical name (purple figs). My dog chewed a branch off my tree today. I took cuttings off of the dismembered branch and removed the figs. I would like to know how/if I can root these cuttings. The plant already started to lose some leaves since I am in zone 5 but it is far from dormant. I am looking for a method which would be most successful. I am willing to put forth the effort of rooting them indoors (if it will work). Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.
