Bulbs that Bloom late Summer and Fall

Nell Jean

I'd been watching closely for signs of this Oxblood Lily sending up shoots. Forgot to check on Sunday, and it bloomed!

I'm still watching for signs of Sternbergias that didn't bloom last year, I thought because of drought, but made good foliage through the winter.

There is foliage that I think are Acidanthera that looks as if it could produce some blooms soon.

No signs of Lycoris lutea, but L. radiata are sending up buds everywhere and I've seen a blossom or two.

What fall blooming bulbs are showing promise in your garden?

Nell
