Tadpoles - who needs em'

Posted this complaint on another site but thought you all might be able to relate too!!

You know they are coming and when they do you are so excited. You tell everyone you know they will be arriving any second - just like any expectant grandparent. Then joyously they arrive and arrive and ARRIVE. Then you worry about over-population, you go online to the Garden Talk group and inquire if one needs to be concerned about over-population..... You're told nature will take care of itself if left alone....... So you check daily, see how they are doing, try to name them but after two thousand and twenty six you run out of names... then Yee Haw! you see legs, you worry about them going into puberty without their parents to guide them, I mean what do I know about frog puberty? Oh the stress. By this time you are drinking more and losing what hair you have left. You encourage the shy ones, rebuke the naughty ones and just tend to their every need. Parents are still long gone so of course all the work is left to the Grand parents...

Then one day you go out to check on them and THEY ARE GONE!!! No forwarding address, not even a tail to remember them by. Could there be a more ungrateful group of grands than that????? Next year they are on their own.
