@ angie_m, It is hard to tell from the picture, but that one could be it, too ;) I just noticed on the one that olychick found that it has some darker shading, but in my picture, I don't see that. But I guess it will be hard to know for sure, considering I only have the small realtor picture. But one of these could possibly work. Thanks!

If you go to the web site Help Me Find/roses, you can search for roses by name. Try Chrysler Imperial - red colors are not very true on the computer, but you could look at it and see what you think. Also, if you post this question on the Antique Rose forum, you will get way more and more accurate information (folks who are good at identifying antique roses are also good at identifying ANY rose, and they love to try!). It is Jerusalem Sage, but let me tell you a secret. I tried to grow varieties with little success. Many would melt in the Texas heat, but this one, 'Edward Bowles', does really, really well here. Stays mostly green in the winter and doesn't melt. Easy to root with cuttings under plastic baggie.

Since tree roots extend beyond the branch canopy Armillaria mushrooms coming from the roots of an infested tree can pop up some distance from the trunk. As with plant species (fungi are not plants) and birds there are always certain particular features used to recognize each. And tell them from superficially similar ones. So try searches like "north carolina mushroom identification" to see if you can get sites providing enough detail to be able to tell - definitely do not assume the ones on your place are not poisonous without being quite confident in an identification. Also if you check there may be a mushroom enthusiast group show going on in your area somewhere.
