I too have a young chicken with this problem, She seems all round normal, I have 22 young chicks together, they have a flock block they eat I give em plenty of fruits, veggies and grass, They also run around in the yard, She just hasn't grown the big feathers like the others, I have watch em all from day 1 and the others were growing feathers and this 1 decided to just to be different I named her J-BIRD cuz she naked as a jay bird, you can tell by looking at her that she is not picked on, the other thing is if my dog comes around em which would never hurt em they all surround J-BIRD like they are protecting her, I have a friend that has raised chickens His whole life and he said he has seen it many times and its a genetic thing,

length of show.. depends on ambient temps .... some springs it is warm enough to start pushing.. and then cool enough to make it a 2 week show or so ... other years.. temps spike .. and it can be gone in a week ... gotta have that camera ready to roll ken

The Spring weather here had been very cool & wet, high temp sometimes not even 60. GB slowly grew it's bud and was slowly opening. Absolutely beautiful & I could see why Paul Barden named it "Golden Buddha." That morning, it was warm & dry and the bud was about half open & releasing a delicious scent. Scent reminded me of those pastel sweet-tart candies. It seems like I remember the flower having a messy petal arrangement all along. Temp that day hit upper 80s & by next morning the bud was blown. It hung around on the plant for maybe 3 days & retained scent even when petals began to brown. My canes are still very skinny, but there is new lateral cane formation in several places, new leaf growth & possibly a new basal cane. Basal cane could have already been forming & was so small I didn't see it when planted. Canes & foliage have a delightful "wild rose" look about them. I notice Christopher's plant looks more like a classic hybrid tea/floribunda; perhaps with age the rose loses that wild look. I can post photos, if you want to compare the plant form with yours.

Is the light exposure different? Feather Down was a contender for me based on Samplize sample, but when I slapped it on the wall it pulled way too much yellow in the room with abundant natural daylight; in the hallway with zero natural light it's beautiful. IDK how to cut paint colors, but I wonder if you'd just end up with a lighter yellow. You might be better off finding a color that corresponds and flows into the FD in the other room -- there is no "rule" that all rooms must be the same color.
