Thursdays Blooms Lots of Re-blooms

A few more Reblooms are opening. I now have 90 different ones with re-bloom scapes.

Here is the first re-bloom on Esprit de corp:

Crazy Ivan twins:

Romanian Rendezvous Twins - a little pale from the heat:

Woman At The Well on looks good in the heat:

Ledgewoods Pansy Eye: Looking more purple which pleases me

Such a bounty of beautiful rebloomers! I couldn't help but chuckle when I saw the Bird Talk photo. Now that you have verified its ID, it decides to look like it's supposed to. LOL! It's quite pretty in this photo. My three top favorites are Crazy Ivan, Songwriter and Mary's Baby. I love the Romanian Rendevouz twins in their pale state, and Filled to Overflowing is a real looker too.

Offtopic, check the bud scars on your Black Fathom Depths. I think it may be one for the Bud King list.

Thanks, Debra. Actually, my BFD wouldn't qualify this year. I think I missed it totally when I fertilized the little I did...it got alfalfa, but no fish emulsion. Little Light of Mine is a reliable great bloomer though.

I really like Crazy Ivan's bloom.

Condilla always does look good, doesn't it Rita. It starts out double & is consistent, every bloom is picture perfect. Great little double daylily, & I'm not big on doubles :) Thanks Kay. The first blooms on that seedling were ok, but the last few have been much nicer. I really like the color of it. I need to get out & water too, Celeste. they are saying we have a remote chance of rain tonight though, so I'm going to wait. I really should water though, that would up my chances of rain, I'm sure. I think you are right Debra, it might be a great bridge plant. I can't think what I could have pollinated New Dawn with to have gotten this height, about all I had then I can think of was Firestorm or Autumn Minaret. And neither of those have this kind of bud count. There are 4 scapes, one has 29, 2 have 37, & one has 39. Hush Little Baby is lighter today than it was yesterday, must be the heat. Part of it though is my new camera. It isn't an expensive one but I would think a Nikon would get better pictures than an older Kodak, but it doesn't. I keep meaning to get my old camera out & charge it up. It had been having problems, but nothing I couldn't work with for this. Of course, it could be operatoritis too.

I remembered the name of the yellow one a little while after posting, at least that is the name I am remembering, & went into Photobucket to label the photo before I forgot it again :) And the 1st double is Gemini Jack. I have a list of my daylilies written down, & tags beside most all of them. I've had Burning Daylight for so long, & in the same spot, who would think I could forget that one? It is a nice bright one, late too, so that's good. Blooms pretty well. Wedding Gown has really nice timing. It had its very last bloom today, looks like the rebloom scape will have a bloom tomorrow. It only rained enough to wet the grass, but it did cool it down. Supposed to be really hot again tomorrow though, then rain this weekend should cool everything off. Hope so, I think our upstairs AC is out. Doesn't seem to be very cool & we had some problems in the spring. Ah well, guess it is time for a new unit.

Greetings is an awesome rose. It never stops flowering. The buds on it are absolutely unbelievable, there are so many. I only have 2 flowers open on it so far but will be sure to take pictures when more open. As far as I can see J&P offered Greetings for one year, which is when I got it and then it was gone. Replaced by GOOD N PLENTY, which I didn't feel I wanted. Royal Wedding is also a J&P rose, one of their versions of english style roses like their Golden Zest. LOUISE CLEMENTS is one of the John Clements intros from Heirloom Roses as is MEMORIES. Cool here too but it hasn't bothered the roses, going to be a great spring flush.

Oh kay! All that rebloom is just fabulous. I hope they keep right on comming for you. They look great. Love em. My favorite is your first one, Esprit De Corp. Lovely bi-tone.

Nice grouping of reblooms Kay. Espirit de Corps is always a favorite here.

I like Ledgewoods Pansy Eye. Really pretty color.

Rita, I'm just along for the ride now. They started blooming April 17th and quickly heated up. I found Mabou and Malaysian Monarch today with scapes. Good grief!

Mantis, I get up earlier than I would otherwise in an effort to get pictures before the sun distorts the colors. that one was taken just before 0700 theis morning.

Thanks, Julia. I am loving this one more on rebloom, and the color is more purple in 100 degree heat. Go figure.

I can't imagine having that much rebloom. I'm lucky if I get one or two here each year, but with this year's early spring maybe I'll see more.

Lady Jane Pearcy is the standout for me.

You have some really nice reblooms, Mary's Baby,Crazy Ivan and Esprit De Corps are all tied for my list of favorites.
