We're not used to this here on Vancouver Island, I know a lot of you have it much hotter but hey were supposed to be around 75 degrees here and it's was 97 yesterday and will be the same today. Some of my plants are frying even though they are getting water. I think Libby is a couple of degrees cooler then me, but still these temps are way out of line in her neck of the woods too.

What steps do you with high temps every summer do to keep your plants from shriveling up, any hints? I sure hope this is not a sign of what our summers are going to be like in the future.

We managed to keep the temp in the house around 76 yesterday by closing all the windows, closing the blinds, ceiling fans on in 4 rooms and putting the furnace blower on, pulling the cooler air up from the basement.
