Some ugly seedlings & a couple of unknowns

I know I torment you with my seedlings after everyone has such great ones, but they are my babies :)

Big flower, I don't mind the colors, but it could use a lot of improvement

I might like this one, came from seeds I received in a trade, nice big flower

I was going to test your patience with my REALLY ugly seedlings, but decided to give you a reprieve :)

I do have a couple of unknown daylilies I didn't show earlier

Kind of an odd looking one, not a great grower or long bloomer

This was supposed to be Super Purple, but looks more red to me. The flower is only about 4" rather than the 6" SP is supposed to be. Was a good bloomer last year though

My first bloom on Primal Scream, we had a rough storm last night so doesn't look as good as it could I imagine

Juanita's Picotee Delight, looks just like the 2nd picture on Tinker's, but the description say light/dark maroon. I see orange

Well that second seedling is certainly nice enough. Torment away if all of yours look like these. Not too shabby:)

Are you saying a platanus for #2? If so I don't think that's it. I don't think it would be #1 either as I can't see any reason why I would have planted that. I guess I'll wait and see if it gets any blooms and if I still don't know I'll post another pic. Maybe as the seedlings in the first pics get bigger I'll be able to figure them out. Thanks for trying.

Sarracenia hybrid seedlings (unknown cross)

That is the problem, all Sarracenias grow similarly at first until they are a couple of years old. That is made even more difficult that they are hybrids, so placing the species cannot be done until later. There are some that are upright and all green, some that are upright and purplish, some that are prostrate and green, some that are prostrate and reddish or purplish, some that have fuller hoods, some that barely have hoods. They are a mishmash right now. Sarracenia rubra hoods grow the same way until a couple of years later too. It is a waiting game with Sarrs.

Thanks all, now here's todays seedlings..the first one is the 3rd seedling to bloom, of the Karen My Love x Razzle cross. Here's a brand new cross blooming today...Sugarplum Glaze x Clothed In Glory...pretty nice for an FFO on a year old seedling, IMO. :) Now here's an odd one, look what happened when I crossed Condilla x Lavender Stardust. FFO on this year old seedling. Who would have thought I'd get this? :) This is so much fun folks! LOL Now here's the 2nd seedling of the Victorian Lace x Victorian Lace, of all things, trying to double. This is the 2nd bloom on the VL x Impressionistic seedling that I posted in another of my seedling threads. Now heres a few blooms on some of my older seedlings. LOL I'm with you Ellie they seem to know what they are doing. Rita I hope to be on here more than I have been. I so enjoy seeing everyone's flowers and garden pics. I don't have time to comment on all of them but I do love seeing them. Thanks everyone for the comments on the seedling it was a nice surprise yesterday. Had another one bloom today of Undivided Heart X Unk but the $200 camera just isn't picking up the correct color of it, so I'm hoping for a better day to grab a pic of it. It is a very nice one also. You know what, those little fellows may just surprise you next bloom season. Sometimes, the ugly ducklins turn out to be swans. :)
