So here's how they look from further back... which is why I mistakenly said they looked fine. It's been chilly here (to me... not to anyone else) for the past couple days, so I've stayed in the house and done "house things." Today, I went out there and took these pics: And here we have close-ups of some examples of what I'm seeing happening. Also, I've noticed the new leaves seem stunted. They don't grow very big before they either stop growing or fall off. Misshapen leaves, 'browning out'... Hard to really tell in this picture, but the leaf in the center is sorta 'browning out.' If this was a fancy goldfish, I'd say this one has 'dropsy.' Some weird new-growth habit, among other things. More brown spots, plus white spots. At the edge of the pot, you can see the leaves are dying here and there. This is an attempt at a close-up of one of the worst ones. Small leaves that fall off if you even touch them. Another particularly affected plant. The first sign of a problem on a previously robust plant. I don't know what the problem is, but it's obviously contagious. I'm going to have to pull all of this out, dump the brand new potting media into the trash, wash and sterilize the pots, wait for some undetermined length of time, then replace it all. Super bummer. I only hope that whatever it is doesn't spread to things that AREN'T Coleus.

I agree with you, which the chart (“opened with the quick link”) at the bottom of the first long post basically list. Now that I remember, I found a review that stated “the new mower comes assembled and you just add the quart of oil that comes with the mower” which I doubt was a qt. My neighbor new mid grade mower came with a 15 oz bottle of oil. He and his Yardman un-boxed and added some of the oil vs verifying. It smoked so bad I knew something was wrong and ask them to stop and no oil was showing on the stick. I called Home Depot and was told to add the complete 15 oz bottle that came with the mower. We did and the stick checked full. I felt the excessive smoke that finally ended was from the bad positions they had the mower in while adding etc with some oil in it. Directions are not always clear “To Us”! Not to mention being in a hurry w/o looking at any instructions. The Donor Mowers have dried up in this area the last 2-3 yrs. You have to ask for what had been on the curb (after seeing them sit 2-3 yrs outside behind a storage area). The scrap dealers are in larger numbers ahead of the week of monthly City Bulk Pick-up. I still believe maintained residential used mowers vs commercial used mowers are not used an expected lifetime vs a lack of lack of care.

Thanks for sharing your roses! I grew Sunsprite many years ago, the color was always so bright and cheerful. You gotta love the floriferous floribundas! My mother-in-law, now deceased, used to have several older Peace bushes in front of her house. She would tell me that they were the most beautiful rose. I mentally poo-pooed her thinking, never having seen them, in favor of the newer varies pouring out from J & P and other rose breeders in the 1970s. I went to visit her one time when her roses happened to be in bloom. Her Peace roses were magnificent! The color, size, and form were just perfect. Then I knew why Peace was loved by so many. I always meant to put one in my garden, but alas, still haven't...

My computer guy installed Irfanview and I just opened it and see all the pics are correctly oriented. Thanks. I know I should learn more about it and other programs that would make my life easier. I am about to switch to Mac which I hope will be easy once I learn it. Ravencajun you always seem to help us out and I really appreciate it! Do you by chance know of a program that will allow me to view my large videos (20 minutes) I took with my iPhone? I guess what I'm using now is Quick Time Movies.
