HAVE: Apologies to everyone I owe seeds to

I've been in financial turmoil here lately, and haven't even THOUGHT about the trades I was supposed to be sending out.

The bad news is that one of my triple yellow seed pods got moldy, so I'm having to wait and pray that the two still on the plant don't die before they mature. So for all of you waiting for the second group of seeds, I'm sorry, it will be a little longer.

I'm going through the trades today, and will get them out by tomorrow, I promise. I've just been thinking of nothing except how to save my house lately, so I apologize for my neglect.

Truth be told, I've never been a good trader, because my life always seems to be in chaos. But I SWEAR, the trades I can fill, I will fill today and mail tomorrow.

It would help if all of you waiting (especially the ones of you who didn't include a note in your mailer) would please write me and tell me who you are, and exactly what I was sending you.

You were going to send me some peanut butter plant seeds, but please don't worry about it if you've got other things on your plate. I'm not even quite sure where I'd put it, so I'm in no hurry.

Tanya, I don't think you mixed up any seeds. You can check with the dahlia people, but dahlias do not come true from seed. They don't usually come close, although I have heard flower shape and plant habit usually do. Most people trading for dahlias know this and all the person trading can do is say "These came from a plant that was this color and this tall", but I would say most people know they don't come true, so don't worry, you didn't do anything wrong at all. This is all because of the very complex ancestry of the Dahlia itself. Out of curiosity, were the parents double or single dahlias? And how did the children come out? Single or double? Would you say the basic overall shape of the flower was like or unlike its parents? I just wonder what mine will look like next year. Lime

Thanks Cedric. I admit, that Spring Bloom from Target does not smell great in the bottle, but after wash/dry....the scent is the closest any of us will ever have to real & classic AF Downy. Thanks! Btw, I am absolutely loving Kirkland/Costco fabric softener. SO similar to Spring Bloom/April Fresh and the ginormous container is like $8 :)
