New garden bed plus new blooms.....

I've been working on redoing this back corner of my garden for about a year now. Put in most of the dl's last year, then had my son rip out some overgrown shurbs, etc from behind the dl's to create a new "butterfly, hummingbird" garden. I put in the brick lined mulch walkway to access the area and I've got lots of butterfly plants, both nectar and host planted with pretty good germination. I'm also planting Tithonia, Rudbeckia, Cone Flowers, Cleome, Salvias, and other plants that will attract butterflys and hummers. Here's two views of the area. I'm still working on it so haven't mulched the back side of the area yet.

This view taken from near my doubles bed.

A closer view.

Now for some of the dl's that were blooming in my garden today.

This one is growing in my garden this season because of a photo Chris posted of it last season! :) Love it Chris.

FFO on Ricter which is also brand new to my garden.

Another Munson.

How about this FFO on Mysterious Eyes, purchased from Maryott's last fall. Is that angel wings I see on this bloom? :)

FFO on Strawberry Masquerade, planted last fall.

Couldn't resist posting this group shot of Rose Masterpiece.

Or this clump shot of Scotch Sour.

FFO on Serenaded By Angels.

FFO on Forbidden Dreams.

And last but certainly not least, an FFO on a Paul Owen seedling that I got from him last fall. It's huge!!
