Callitris columellaris- Australian Cypress, a subtropical conifer

Callitris columellaris, Australian Cypress, is a subtropical conifer in Cupressaceae. At one time it was commonly planted in parts of central Florida but nurseries no longer grow this. I have only seen a few around Orlando but they are very common in south-central Florida, especially around Lake Wales, Plant City and Lakeland area. They have naturalized but aren't invasive. They have a superficial resemblance to Juniperus virginiana var. silicicola and Chamaecyparis thyoides var. henryae but have a more columnar growth habit.
Here are some older specimens in Plant City, FL in an old cemetery.
