ok, now I actually found one I want, Monet. Monet my favorite artist, I have a real love, a passion, a driving need, for art and Monet speaks to me as no other artist does. No matter how much I may love another artist work. I love Monet's work so much that I keep a folder of his work by my computer to look at most everyday, did my bedroom in a Monet theme, and named my best friend, my hosta dog, my standard poodle, Monet. I have just got to have a plant named after Monet. I really never did take much note of the Heuchera's other than an interesting contrast to the hostas, but if anyone can tell me where to find the one named Monet, it will be given a star spot in my gardens.

The first one is Silver Scrolls, I love the way it flowers #2 is unknown, it was a seedling growing in my path I saved. #3 is new Crème Brule. #4 Amber Waves from last year, all the leaves are the same yellow green so far. #5 IÂve got the tag somewhere. # 6 Heucherella Foamy Bells this is also from last year, it seems to like where it is, mostly shady. I have another that just barely holds on, i need to find a better spot for it #7 is Cathedral Windows. Big plant, not much of a bloom, I usually cut the flower spikes off. #8 is Stormy Seas is next to #9 Autumn Bride I got both of them last year. I amazed at how big Autumn Bride got it supposed to bloom late summer. #10 new this year Peach Melba, tiny leaves so far. The last one also unknown has been there the longest, in deep shade. I started a new bed last spring that contains nothing but heuchera, tiarella and heucherella. I have about 50 varieties in this bed and a few in my front bed as well. In this pic, the fuller ones were transplanted from other parts of the garden. The small ones are new. And lemme tell ya, some of the brand new varieties were REALLY tiny! I did lose several this year, however. We had an exceptionally hot streak of weather and I think they bit it from lack of water. My favorites include Brownies... it's got such huge leaves, Sashay.... cool texture Stoplight.... in spring, it has red, yellow and green leaves Obsidian....amazing color Caramel...always looks great and a good grower Georgia Peach....what an amazing leaf color We got our first substantial snow yesterday, so no heuchera pics from right now! Besides, the leaves had already collected around them.

I guess Godiva Chocolates are my favorite candy for the occasional chocolate fix. Sees Candy has gone way downhill too except for a few classic items. Their stores are full of candy bar type stuff and they got rid of Sugar Sticks!!!. Now, they still make them because they are still put in the boxes for holidays. But you can't buy them alone anymore. You have to buy a box of stuff you don't want to get 2 or 3 of them. I like Russell Stover candy at the drugstore. All my old favorites have been reformulated or changed. UNO bars are no longer much different from a Three Muskateer. Annabel took the middle layer of chocolate out the Rocky Road bar. Hershey's has recently change their chocolate Kiss formula also. Probably think we won't notice by introducing all the silly different varieties but people did. Even Lifesavers messed up their flavors. It will be just like what happened to hamburgers *sigh*. A whole generation of kids grew up on McD's so they think In and Out or Sonic are something special. LOL I still like Swedish Fish. But only the original red ones. The multi-colored ones are just wrong.
