Don't seem to be many posting photos lately,so I beat the rain and took a few more this morning.

I know you must be tired of seeing this one, but, it IS so pretty,if only I could get a better photo of it.

This one is constantly throwing out blooms.

Wish I could get a good phoyo of this one.It really is very pretty.

I have had this one for several years,and this is first year to bloom,and them wouldn't open all the way.

Love this red.

First bloom this year

This is the 4th bloom and so far none has opened up.Some of the buds just fell off,I guess do to all the rain we had and then cold nights.

More that won't open up.They look like "Cups"Will be pretty when they ever open up

Last, my little shadow following me around,and finds a DL to grab a fast nap,until I move to the next bloom.

Glad you were able to make some photos today Jean. It's been raining here all day so I haven't even been out to see what's blooming. I really love your Silver Shadows. Is it as white as it appears on my monitor?
I've had some that just don't want to open all the way too, during these cool days and nights we've been having. I think my peak bloom will be a bit later than normal this year also. Due to the cooler temps I guess.

Blackie must work very hard in your garden to need all those naps LOL!

I am surprised that your daylilies are not opening after all your way down south. I might expect it here as it has been a mostly cool spring but I guess cooler than normal all over. CHERRY VALENTINE never has any problems opening here in my garden and I have some non opening clunkers, believe me.

Rita, can't hardly wait to see them lilies blooming again. Nancy, I love Apricot nector too, its a very pretty apricot color, KAY, sCENTIMENTAL has a very weak fragrance.not real strong, like Ebb Tide does and Blinda's Dream LINDA: Thanks. I am back in my garden a little,I still get very tired real fast and still get weak after a few minutes, but,I keep going back, as I know the outside and the sunshine is good for me.I have always been a outside type and never like being in the house all day. Val, roses are rewarding with the big smelly blooms, but, you are right they have to be sprayed for blackspot,and I have not been able to spray mine yet and they do have some blackspot on them.maybe in a nother week or two I will be more able to care for them better. Thank you all for the nice comments. Julia. The clematis IS a medium shade of Blue. NO purple. Rita; I suppose my wrist is getting better, but it sure has not stopped throbbing.It dont bother me alot where the break is in my wrist, but is so painfull on both sides of my elbow,I have to revert to taking a pain pill some times.Just can't stand another minute of the pain its causing,when trying to get a few hours sleep at night.The daylilies starting to bloom helps alot to take my mind off it, some.Supposely,I have 13 days left till this heavy metal comes off the arm.The way my arm is so painfull now,I am dreading the therapy. Jan, Yes Silver Shadows is as n ear white as I have seen in any photos of near whites.The centers on the peddles is a very very light lemon yellow,turning white on edges.I am not good at describing it.I can send you a start of it a little later,if you would like it.
Rita: Blackie works very hard trying to stay close to me,and shes getting old, too.Not sure hoq old she is,since she was a grown cat with babies when she came here and decided this would be her home.
We have had some very cool days and nights too lately.It dropped down to 45 at night for about 4 nights as I remember and 50's for daytime.And it also rained for 2 weeks every day,too.Now its raining again for the next week,is what the forecast is..I am hoping I will get to see this Cherry Valentine open soon and also Terry Lynninger.They look beautiful to me only half open..

Jean, Nice group of daylilies. I love HOF...it's a workhorse. But I especially like EE - what a pretty edge and such a huge yellow throat!
