I get just few basic channels on TV, and was wondering if you can recommend your favorite gardening videos on the internet - especially on cottage gardening.

For me, nothing beats the Vitorian garden series.

Thank you bugface!! I have seen the Lambertson video but the Smith & Stamile are fantastic. I just wish they were longer...sigh!! I actually have Bird Talk from Lambertson's, ( new this year ) and mine turned out to be much prettier than the one in the video. Also from Smith's, I have Grandma's Smile and American Freedom, also new to me but they both bloomed fantastic. I really enjoyed all of the video's and I especially like Trimmers..He is one of my favorites..Thanks sooo much...Ellie

I only watch CaliKim29 because she is easy on my eyes. I don't agree with most of her garden methods, and I've seen too many garden myths used. Some pointless and some just wrong to garden health. I prefer one yard revolution. He doesn't endorse any product, encourages you to use all free resources, no chemicals. He researches info, applies it, looks at the results. He's currenty working toward a do NOTHING garden, well, as little as possible work with great results. Podcast: You Bet Your Garden. Former editor of Organic Gardening Magazine. Takes your fascinating phone calls and has an interesting question of the week he throughly answers. Interesting personality. I couldn't find any other garden podcast that i could bear to listen too.

I was perusing one of my favorite rose blogs, and stumbled upon the book reference and You Tube video. I later noticed that the book was the topic of a thread from last year. I clearly missed the previous forum posting, and posted the information for anyone unfamiliar with the book or video. One thing I noticed is that there seems to be a Women in my Garden book released by the publisher in 2014, and one from earlier this year. I am sooo busy, and have not found the time to research the difference if there is any??? I enjoyed the video content and learned how to "properly" pronounce some of the rose names. My second language knowledge etc. is Spanish, which is not particularly helpful for so many French names. Lynn

Whoo Hoo, I've been saving my pennies so I just ordered English Cottage and Country Gardens from across the pond. Apparently it plays in all regions soooo hopefully it will be as good as the other gardening dvd's I've ordered from the UK.

Search on You Tube for KLRU.
KLRU has a Central Texas Gardener series, lots of discussion, but some great views of many different Texas gardens.

I relate better to Texas plants than British gardens, I just can't grow bluebonnets.

The author that I noted in my post has written the defnitive book on how those English Gardens got started. It has been very well received. You might want to look into it if you like history and gardening combined. c
