Thought I had posted before this...now I remember, I typed too much & then lost it! I'll try again... What do you do when you are feelin' GOOD, mzclassic??? This work is wonderful! Love the t-pot, colors & location in the corner on your deck. Love the terra cotta planter bottom...the pattern & colors you've chosen...did you paint the crocus in the middle or cut a tile for that? If so, what did you use to cut that circle? Can't tell if you grouted or not...love it! I'm attaching a pic I put on conversation side of a stained glass sunrise I bought some yrs. back at a craft show ...done on planter bottom...love it! The "faucet dangly" is so CUTE! Ellie - There are a few of us here that love the pinks and lavenders... I added in a love for blue eyes, just to shake things up! :0)~ Glad to hear DRN will shape up. It wasn't *too* bad, but I always am so impatient for them to bloom right! Jan - I am *so* impressed with Crystal Sea. I got it as a one fan bonus, and had never heard nor seen pictures of it. It is a HUGE bloom here, and it is a perfect pink for me - you? Ballerina Beautiful opens perfect for me every time... so far (knock on wood). I would totally recommend it, scapes are nice and thick with the right height, foliage is nice. Maybe in fall I'll have enough to trade ya somethin'? Pat - I used to HATE pink, but as I grew older, I liked it more and more. Maybe because I was *supposed* to like it as a little girl, I rebelled. Silly girl. Pinks with pink watermarks really get me going (like Clown's Cabaret). Nancy - I keep asking myself, "don't I have enough? Where will I put MORE?". Guess it never ends. This forum is the worst enabling site ever, because people show you photos, and also tell you how good the plant is.... :o) Michelle - hang in there, my SOT has not increased well for me either. I think this is one that takes its sweet time settling in. When it does bloom, you'll be delighted - the flowers are so good. Judy - thanks for the encouragement to wait! I am soooo impatient for more blooms! Debra - it is an intro from Hillard Lawler (DrBud - LA). I got it as a bonus. It has the weirdest parents ever for a pink - BILL NORRIS X FLAMING WILDFIRE. Tet, 8" flower on 40" scape. I seriously just planted it, so the flowers have a lot of room for improvement. I'll post the pic he sent me - it is fabulous. Can't wait to see it next year.

Thanks for the feedback. Red, the pismo dunes right now is only on the left side of the clock wall. That golden color is outgoing. In real life it doesn't seem to have any red undertones. flyleft-I love that clock too--it's a repro, got it at TJ Maxx--it was so dusty from being passed over and over that it almost looked vintage! beachlily--lucky you! Florida. Well, I live in Southeastern PA, it gets cold, but it is sunny, you know, "It's always sunny in Philadelphia". When I lived in Ohio, we had the lake effect, I think the average number of sunny days between November and April is 4. Had to move.

I've heard of Rudbeckia var. Indian Summer. How interesting that it self sowed and reverted back to its non hybrid self and then you added a new variety from the garden center which then probably cross pollinated and voila a vision in golden yellow splendor.....Did I tell you that because of you I tried a Hollyhock again (via mail order) because of what you showed. I'd never had any luck with them before but this was advertised as rust free for one. It was......the rabbits did indeed chew on rust free foliage. Unfortunately our weather got it in the end. The monsoons all last summer and this spring flooded the bed continually and finally it went toes up this spring after pushing out one meager bloom. I hope you treasure "your care" free plants. I would love to be able to grow some of them.............Maryl
