First, I'm very new at plants and trees, but I'm beginning to like it. I live in the suburbs of Philly so I'm not sure of my zone yet. o.k. I bought two weeping blue atlas cedar trees and I'm not sure on how to keep them growing in the S-shape they're in now. They're in big black containers and taller than me (5'6"). What do I do? I also am not sure where I want to plant them. Is it o.k. to leave them in the pots for the winter on my driveway or will they die? I was thinking of putting them in the ground in their buckets for the winter and take them out next year when I find the best spot. Oh, I think there's some burlap sack already around them inside the bucket. Please help me. I don't want to ruin the money I've invested in these rather expensive ornamental trees. any suggestions for a beginner would be greatly appreciated. thank you again.
