Gee if you're gonna fire up the barbi I might take you up on it as well. It's a long drive for me so maybe I'd better have an actual lunch at your place rather than just sweets and a drink. Shrimp on the barbi? lol...

    Hi Skraps,

I cant find any information on Langfloria ? Can you tell me more about it please ? Is it a hosta? a perennial ? an herb?

I would love some Frances Williams if possible...I have some hostas, but maybe you would want to see them before agreeing to trading for them. I do have one that is interesting in that it appears to walk .i.e. you will have the mother plant and instead of only growing in a clump like most hostas(which it does too) it also puts out a runner and a new plant from the runner. My problem is most of the tags have heaved from the winter and blown away.. :?O I do have my varieties written down but just no time to sit and sort.

Also interested your donkey tails ....let me know what you might consider as trades from my list for these items .

I dont want to be greedy but if no one else claims the Nelly Moser, Id be glad to give it a home here.

WMC1......thanks so much for the Sweet Autumn clematis . What would you like in trade? or have we sorted that out already ? LOL !

JROOT .....sorry to hear that it is too far...hope to meet you someday !

    That's all for now folks.

Good morning all, I found this link a few days ago and joined in the hopes that I would be able to attend. Unfortunately weekends in the summer mean that I am away or if not away then I am working, so I guess I won't make it. It certainly sounds like fun and the list of plants are very tempting! :)
I do have several plants that need a good home so if anyone is from London or area and would be travelling by, then I am very willing to send some for you if anyone is interested in what I have.
    an incomplete list right now:

    clematis--Prairie Traveller's Joy--(and it is a traveller)
rose of sharon-a few mauve/pinkish with maroon centre
rose of sharon-white with maroon centre-a couple of tiny ones that started last year(a couple of inches tall)
    pot of chives
    yellow loosestrife
pink lily of the valley-couple of small pots
    mallow-pink

climbing rose--I think it is called seven sisters--at least one small rooted piece-possibly two
    Egyptian walking onions
    garlic chives
    grape hyacinth bulbs
    sundrops
    clustered bellflowers--small clump-dark purple
    tall phlox--white

Hi greylady gardener! I am sorry you cant make it to the swap on the 10th but not to say we cant do swaps anyway. I am not that far from you so if you like , I could pick up your plants ( you could do some swapping on this post) and then when the people arrive at the swap with your plants, I could give them yours and bring yours to you. I dont mind doing it at all ! and it is always a pleasure to meet another gardener.

I know that I am very interested in your pink lily of the valley. I havent been able to find it anywhere around here and I would love to try your clematis Prairie Traveller's Joy. If there is anything on my trade list you would like let me know and I can set it aside for you.

I hope you are able to make some interesting trades. I will set up a spot for people to deposit your plants and I can distribute what you have traded to them. How does that sound ? Hope to hear back from you

IMAGOOCH: Is Emerald Tiara Hosta a mini or small by any chance? If so, I would love even just one small eye if you can. My garden beds are very small and I made the mistake of putting some monsters in when I really didn't know anything about Hostas. My biggest is Abba Dabba Do. Would you like an eye or two of that in trade? My other biggies are all commmon ones such as Frances Williams, Krossa Regal (not such monsters as Abba Dabba Do though). Alternatively here is my swap list:

I have just gotten back on the computer after a 24 hour server problem with my internet provider. I had some catching up to do .

Bev W. yes I have LUNARIA (silver dollar plant) I will set some aside for you. Do you have a trade list...I didn't catch it?
IMA GOOCH I can set aside LUNARIA for you also if you wish. By the way I see you are from Chatham...well so am I. I suppose we could make a beforehand trade rather than cart the extra plants down to Appin. Contact me if you wish to do this. Ross.

SKRAPS I see you have PASSION FLOWER on your trade list. Do you still have any to offer and is there anything on my list that you would be interested in. Thanks. Ross.

WMC1 I would be interested in your HARDY HIBISCUS OLD YELLA seedling if still available. If you could take a look at my list further up the page maybe we can make a trade.

TO ALL; I would also like to add CLUSTERED BELLFLOWER to my list.Thanks.

My good heavens! I go out for a few hours to pay bills and run errands and look how much I miss! I hope I'm not too late to propose another swap:

WMC1/BILL: I would absolutely LOVE to try one of your little spotted Cherry Bells. I'd never heard of them before and did a google image search and they are right up my alley. Why are they called "spotted" though? I couldn't see any spots on the pictures that came up. Also, you haven't picked anything in exchange for the Virginia Creeper, let alone the Cherry Bells if you still have them. I feel guilty if you don't pick something. If my list hasn't got anything, perhaps there's some seeds you'd like me to set aside. Just go to my "Trades" link and see what I have there. Even if they aren't something you want, you can use them to trade for something you 'do' want on the CDN Garden Exchange forum.

SKRAPS: Confirming Spotted Touch me nots are added to the list and absolutely I'll take a third fern for them.

IMAGOOCH: Confirming the swap of Abba Dabba Do, Krossa Regal and Frances Williams for 3 of your mini/small hosta.

Updating my list once again to remove swapped items:

1 pot (2 seedlings) Spotted Jewelweed aka Touch-me-nots (promised to SKRAPS)
    NEW!2 pots Pale Corydallis seedling
2 pots Krystal White Columbine seedlings (HUGE white spurred flower)color="red">(promised to MERJA and SKRAPS)

I am a bit confused about where to find the updated lists for you both so I will just ask for what I see on your lists that I would like and please let me know if they are not available.

Flowergirl--would like to have the Japanese anemone -pamina if available in exchange for my garlic chives

Signet--I would like the rudbeckia lanciata in exchange for the clustered bellflower. I will get out tomorrow after work and look to see if there is another piece of the seven sisters for you. Did you see the other post about the pink lily of the valley and the clematis? I am not sure if your daylilies that I named are still available.

    Hi Greylady_gardener.

Yes, I do have a small division of doppleganger for the rose if you have one .

Just a note: When you post for a trade , make sure to post who you are trading with ....some people have the same items so it makes it difficult to know who you want to trade with . i.e. your post should read something like : Knottyceltic do you still have pale corydalis for ....etc. Makes it easy for the traders .....so that if the swap doesnt concern them, they dont have to read that post. Thanks

GREYLADY: Yes, I will swap you the Pale Corydallis for Clustered Bell Flower if you still have some.

SHARRI: Yes, Daisy Fleabane for your Yarrow if you still have it.

SIGNET: My hostas are all 2 years or less old so I hope you don't mind a single eye of the Abba Dabba Do. If that's ok with you I will go for some of your "Freckles Violets" if you have some left to offer.

If each of you could confirm the swap, I can make sure I keep my records up to date.

    Thanks,

    Barb/knottyceltic

SHARRI wrote: My mom is really looking for dianthus...

Sharri, I have "pinks" on my list, however they are just seedlings and likely won't bloom till next year. Don't quote me but I think they were a mix of dark pink, light pink and white.

    GREYLADY-GARDENER:
I am not sure if I have enough japanese anemone 'Pamina' for you. I might be able to get you a tiny piece but I don't know if it is worth it. One of the people that wanted 'Pamina' hasn't confirmed this trade yet and hasn't been on here for 10 days now. If he is not coming for some reason any more, you can certainly have his, but I hold it for him until I know otherwise. Do you have pink single japanese anemone? I can't find a name for it right now. I could give you a much bigger piece of that if that is something you are interested in. Let me know what you would like to do. You can also wait until I hear from Capehlke.

    CAPEHLKE/CHRIS:
I hope you are still coming. You haven't confirmed our trade yet. I am still holding 'Pamina' and mini tan iris for you. Please, let me know.
